AWESOME
This is the best optometrist that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The lady at the front counter was also so very helpful, kind and so caring to my 8 year old son. The receptionist was so nice that she stayed late to make sure my son got his glasses IN LESS THAN 24 hours!! She is VERY knowledgeable as well! My family and I will definitely use EyeMax Family Care as our new place to go!

Great!!!
The convenience of having two offices, one in Gloucester and Newport News is great. The Newport News office offers Saturday appointments which is a great option for those of us who can't get to their office during the week, even though they have later hours. The eye testing is quick and efficient. I have been going to EyeMax for a few years and it has been a GREAT experience.

Great service!
In less than 30 minutes the optometrist had corrected my contact lens prescription, provided me with a test set to take home and ordered new contacts to be picked up in a week. He was very friendly and knowledgable.

Out of state visit
In the area from Texas and needed news contacts. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient. Called me by name without ever having meet me before and had the new patient paper work ready to be filled out. The optometrist was caring about me eyesight and perform a very through exam. He also suggested a better contact lens then I had been wearing due to early stage contracts forming. I highly recommend EyeMax Family Eyecare if you are in the area.

Great optometrist
Dr. Nguyen is an excellent doctor. He has been my optometrist for years, and I have never had a problem with the service he has provided. Outstanding Service
We have only been in the state 5 months and whenever we find a place with great service along with excellent customer service we tell everyone. I am the new Manager at Continental Automotive and will recommend this place. GREAT service all around by both the Doctor and his assistant, she was the best helping us feeling comfortable and picking out the right frames.
 Final words - forget the high price eye place names, this is the very best place to go to get your money worth and great people.

Great Experience
Dr. Hien Nguyen is one of the best optometrists I have worked with over the years. He is very knowledgeable and works with you to ensure you have the best prescription for your needs. The waiting time is less than 5 minutes! I have recommended him to my family and friends. For reference, I am in my 50's and require multifocal lenses. Could not be more pleased with his service!

Great service
We called first, to ask some questions, they answered professionally and quickly. When we arrived, they had already pulled our insurance information, so didn't have to fill out tons of forms. Personalized service, and lots of glasses to choose from. We picked glasses for myself and my teenager and found exactly what we wanted.

Class Act
Making an appointment online was easy & plenty of convenient times were available.
 
 At the time of appointment, both the front desk and Dr. were friendly and helpful. I was seen right on time. 
 
 The exam was efficient & the examination equipment was better than what my last optometrist had, eliminating the need to dilate for examination or to physically touch my eye to check pressure - both pluses.
 
 I didn't end up needing any vision correction, so no comment in that area.

Very Professional and Convenient
I recently had my clear and sun progressive lens glasses replaced. The exam was thorough and accurate. With the assistance of the office staff I selected frames that I'm extremely happy with. I've never had better fitting glasses and my vision is spot on. It is possible that I may have found less expensive glasses somewhere else but I don't think that the quality can be matched. I highly recommend.
